Cloud computing has grown rapidly in diversity, maturity and acceptance over the past few years and has now largely become the industry standard for how Information technology is delivered to support IT service delivery and applications. Key drivers for adoption include its timely ability to meet evolving customer expectations while simultaneously achieving and driving efficiencies and cost savings at scale through agility.
Government agencies are increasingly beginning to move their workloads and services to the cloud. Some have embraced the approach holistically while others are either in the planning phase or trialling development and test environments to test the waters.
